The Star Atlas is an interactive map of worlds and federations from the hard SF series Star Map Draftsman. It lives at /atlas/. Explore only. No login. No play economy. No loot.
What it is for
Readers who want geography after a few chapters — or before diving into Book II politics — can open the atlas and click through places on the Orion Spur. It is a fiction map for a fiction series by Mango Taoist, not a real astronomy tool.
Spoilers
The atlas contains place spoilers. Names, links between systems, and federation coloring can reveal where the story goes before the chapters do. If you are still early in Book I, consider waiting. If you already know Moreth, Ashton, and Strath from the text, the map will feel like a desk chart, not a leak.
How it sits beside the books
- Book I · Federation War — first contact, the Star Source, White Crystal as governance.
- Book II · Fate of the Galaxy — dark matter vanishing; no one knows why.
- Start reading at From Earth if you have not opened the series yet.
Lore pages explain terms without pretending to be science wikis. The lore hub is the text companion; the atlas is the spatial one. More place pages may appear later under the atlas and lore trees — this note only names what exists today.
What it is not
It is not Draftsman’s Ledger (the browser game on play.mangotaoist.com). The atlas does not require Sign in with X. It does not grant Ink, Shards, or seasons. It is a reader map.
